Pastor / preacher in four Christian Reformed Churches from 1979-1998 in the inner-city of Grand Rapids, the suburbs of Toledo Ohio, and the country of Prinsburg Minnesota. You will find my classes for training laity in the downloads.

Received a doctoral degree from the Free University, the Netherlands in 1989.

Taught New Testament Theology at Calvin Theological Seminary from 1998-2017. Besides the general course on the Gospels, I taught the Parables of Jesus, the Birth and Death Narratives, the Gospel of Mark, Luke-Acts, and the Gospel of John. You will find my handouts under the downloads.
